StarForge

I just received news of a new game that seems like it would be a good fit into our server cluster earlier today. The game, called StarForge, is a mix of Starcraft, Minecraft, Halo, and a dozen other genres, (with RPG elements,) all rolled together. Here is a reveal trailer for it.

The best part, is that this game is free to play, as well. So no fees or payments to make. Currently it is only in an EARLY alpha build, and only supports a limited single player mode. I will be monitoring this games development, however, and setting up a multiplayer server for it as soon as possible.

We recently worked out a deal with a friend of mine who was also running a Minecraft server. In order to boost our traffic and to improve the performance and accessibility of his server, we decided to import his world, Firetree, over into our server. Please welcome our new guests, (and their world,) to our server next time you see them online.
